Laptop Usb 3.0 Adapter

Can I use usb 2.0 devices on a usb 3.0 port?

My USB ports are gone on my laptop and I want to use an expresscard to 2x USB ports adapter as a replacement. I’ve been looking at the expresscard to USB 3.0 adapters but someone told me I can’t plug my USB 2.0 devices into the USB 3.0 ports. Is this true? Can I get an adapter or something?

This is not a problem all usb are supported
