what the best free gps navigation program for laptop ?
I don’t think there are any providers that will give you gps for free. After all, satellites are involved and if you can’t get free satellite internet, what would make you think you can get free gps navigation.
Well, Microsoft has a program called streets & trips which tell you where to go using gps. It looks good on television, you hook it up to your notebook or laptop as some call it. Its not free though, and you can’t download it because it comes with a little connection.

edit: iPhone uses something like gps, it gets your location and shows you directions to your destination. But, I don’t think it uses gps rather cell phone triangulation which is less accurate. It can be about 3 meters off or more. While gps gets your exact location.
Also, I’m not sure but my old school had little devices which told your location using gps. I think the service they were using is free, but it only give you your location and not any directions. Its a little bulky device that looks like a fat calculator. It displays longitude and latitude.
