Laptop Batteries For Gateway Computer

What’s wong? My Gateway laptop battery pack won’t charge. PLEASE HELP!?

It is plugged in to the wall and connected to my computer. When I turn my computer on the battery icon will appear without the plug next to it. Also when I plug the pack in, the light turns green, so I’m assuming the pack still has power. The cord that plugs into the laptop is a little worn and does have very a minor thin silver wire exposed but as I mentioned, my pack still has power but it just won’t charge. I did get it to charge somehow last night, I have no idea how. But it won’t charge as of now. My laptop has about 85% of its power left and I’m trying to conserve it. (I’m using power save mode for my battery, and I’m trying to use my laptop for when I really need it. I’m actually typing this through my wii.) I really don’t know what to do, and this only started happening since last night. By the way, if anyone needs it, my laptop’s model number is M-6823a. Thanks SO MUCH for everyone`s support! I TRULY appreciate it:)

If you have exposed wires then it’s the time to replace your charger. I recently had problems with my charger (broken wires) and bought a brand new one on ebay for $20.

Just get the model no from your adapter and type it into the ebay search box and you will find what you need. Or if money is not an object for you then just buy a new one from your laptop manufacturer
