Difference Between Laptop And Notebook

What’s the difference between a Notebook and Laptop?

I want to know the difference between the notebook and the laptop, as I see on line shops using both categories, but when watching the products’ description here and there, I don’t understand what’s the difference?

Actually Sarah I think you are confusing “notebook” with NETbook.

Netbooks are a lot smaller, netbooks also lack an optical drive (CD/DVD drive)

Other than that the name “laptop” has been drifting out of favor. because they tend to overheat if actually used on a lap.
