Connecting laptop to HDTV with HDMI??

ok so i have a DELL inspiron with a VGA, Svideo, and HDMI output…so HDMI is best right?
but all the hdmi cable’s i’ve seen are audio?? does that mean there will be no image?

All HDMI cables are the same, ignore what it says on the cable. It’s just that some devices dont carry audio aswell as picture at the same time (this has nothing to do with the cable), in which case the audio out from the TV is needed.

Any HDMI cable will suffice.
