Dell Computer Orange Light Blinking

I have a dell inspiron i1420 and my battery light is blinking orange?

I have a dell inspiron i1420 and my battery light is blinking orange 4 times quickly and then once blue, and when I unplug my computer it dies immediately. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

If it is not charging then your batter life has expired.
