Computer Virus Removal Mac

computer help???

I need to download adware/antivirus removal software to repair adware issues on my pc because I can’t access the internet from it at this time. I’m using a mac, but every time I try to do a download free anti spyware/virus removal it automatically detects my mac and downloads it for mac instead. My pc has limited or no connectivity bec of a winsock provider catalog error, so I assume it’s a virus issue. Believe me, I’ve tried resetting with winsock catalog in command prompt, doing the sfc /scannow, and exporting winsock/winsock2 out of the registry and reinstalling it…ect. and nothing works. So, I’m going to assume my anti virus is out of date and disable it, so I can download something better. Anyone know how I can download windows xp antivirus/spyware removal on to a cd from my mac and install it on my pc? I’m new to macs, so this is all strange to me. Thanks

I repair computers, and of course I carry around several CD’s with all those things you are trying to download. I assume most repairmen do. You might call one in your area and see if he or she will stop by and load you up with anti virus and antispyware software. If you are willing to do all the work yourself, the service charge should be nominal.

Ether that, or get a friend with a PC to download what you want and burn you a CD.
